Wilderness survival trip?

Me and my best friend are planning a 2 week survival trip. It will happen this summer. We currently are trying to get our hands on some survival kits, but right now we have two 8 people tents. There will be about 9 people going. We are trying to stay in the woods near a small town, which does have animal. I realize that what we are doing may sound illegal, but it's actually on my property. We are in Wisconsin, so the summers are hot and humid. Mostly. Where we are looking at is on a creek, but the water is sadly, polluted. So we need a way to fix that. It's located in the forest. Suggestions on what we are going to need? Thank you
