Is Walnut Creek CA a good place for boat repairs? On the map it looks awfully far inland.?

I guess it would be okay to take a little boat there. But what if you have a big boat that you are living on and you just sailed up from Mexico or something. Are there places close to the bay where you can have repairs done?
