Can someone help me with my hair??? I really need advice.?

hi. ok soo.. im getting my hair done tomorrow and im really bored with my same old boring brown hair. some parts look orange compared to other parts of my hair. anyways....i originally wanted something like "chocolate cherry" or "midnight ruby" i really like how its dark but tinted kinda bergandy. BUT!!! i was thinking brown hair with black lowlights? would that look okay. i have the idea of it in my head BUT i cant find a pic! will u please give me some advice and maybe a pic? thank you. *sorry its late im babysitting bored*
