Buying a scanner/printer along with a high GB flash drive?

hello all yahoo answers member.....my mom is having a problem with organizing all her paperwork concerning her MEDICAL,INVESTMENTS,DOCTOR BILLS,HOME INSURANCES,MORTGAGES,ETC i want to ask a very serious question here to everyone for help,i would like to buy a scanner/copier/printer along with a flash drive with high GB's to back all this once i have in my mom's computer,i have a ideal on want to do learning the computer works by trial and error......i need alternative ideals/opinions,,by the way my is a senior citizen and shes afraid of her pc because her last pc was a HP PAVILION SLIMLINE and it kept freezing on her and had pc sent back to HP 2 times and it continued until this christmas 2010 we got her a e-machine which i have is great but shes afraid NOW that shes going to break it....thanks to HEWELTT PACKARD FOR SCARING MY MOM,THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANSWERS AND HELP ON MY MOMS BEHALF
