Are beaver creek accoustic guitars good?

Will you be playing in front of friends and family or in your room by yourself because i've tried this guitar once before and the sound just did not seem good enough to play in front of anyone to me, but I think it is a well made guitar for learning. It's thin, portable, and puts out a much better sound than the $99 full size acoustics you can find at target and wal-mart. This is just my opinion, so you may want to get another persons pov.
